HighField Hall & Gardens, Falmouth, Cape Cod MA: Amber and CJ

– What lead you to have a wedding the way you did? Family, friends location etc?

It was important to us to have a fun wedding where our friends and family would be able to come together and celebrate. We currently live in Cincinnati, OH but we are both from MA and most of our friends and family still live there. We chose Highfield Hall because it was the perfect mix for us – a Cape Cod wedding with a beautiful, fancy house and a fun, outdoor garden for us to get married in.

– What were you most excited about before the wedding?

We were both looking forward to our first look and we’re so glad we did it. It was so great to have those minutes together before the day took off and helped calm some nerves. We love those pictures because you can see the joy and excitement on our faces as we’re realizing we are really doing this!

– Which images did you love the most?

We love all of the family shots, living across the country from our family can be tough and it was great to see everyone and share our day with them.

– When you look back, would you have changed anything?

No, we are so happy with how the wedding turned out and the whole week leading up to the wedding was a lot of fun. We were able to catch up with our friends and family and start our new life together surrounded by our favorite people.

Side note on the veil I wore:

The veil was CJ’s great grandmother’s, and has been worn by 4 other brides before me. It is almost 100 years old and is a family treasure. I was so honored to be able to wear the veil as I officially joined CJ’s family. CJ’s mother and I had the veil restored by an expert in CT and had lots of fun and laughs during the whole process.
