Boston Elopement: Encore Boston – Sarah and Anthony

What led you to decide to celebrate the wedding the way that you did. Was it a big adjustment from what you originally planned?

We wanted to have something positive to look forward to during these unprecedented  times and truth be told turned a negative into a positive by staying true to always wanting a small and intimate wedding ceremony.

What was the best part of your wedding?

The best part of our wedding was the first look. I felt like a little girl seeing her crush for the first time. Tony looked so handsome and Sarah was absolutely stunning (says Tony). You always imagine what this day will look like, how we would feel and then the day comes. So many emotions come running into mind my and at that moment you really take it all in and ponder about this journey that you are about to embark on and how exciting of a moment it is. You think about all your family and friends waiting to see your grand entrance and it’s absolutely amazing.

What were some of your favorite images?

Our favorite images are the ones from the first look, laughing and giggling with one another. And the ones during the ceremony, our true emotions were captured and we were truly in the moment just being ourselves.

Any advice for couples going through this process or about to go through the process?
Yes, we would advise couples to really think about what they want and how to make the day special despite all the external factors happening around us in this world. Ask yourself, when I look back 10/20 years down the line what will truly matter on this day. Is it all the expensive bells and whistles or the moment the two of us shared in the company of those nearest and dearest to you ( virtually or in person).
