Boston Wedding: Caryn and Joe

Over this past year, I’m so happy to have grown closer to Caryn and Joe. Caryn is one of the most caring and wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure to know. Since I first met with her, she has gone through more in one year that I would like to in a lifetime. And after it all, she still loves life, and laughs as though no one is watching. I started the day with Caryn and her girl friends at the hotel. Here are some of my favorite images of their day.

I just loved Caryn’s reaction to seeing her makeup all finished!

Caryn and Joe had their first look right outside the hotel. It was unbelievably windy and COLD, so after the first look we ran inside for a few portraits.

Love this moment between Caryn’s brother and her step father after they walked her down the aisle.

Caryn’s niece was hysterical. I made sure to put in a few images of her during the ceremony.

The kids making faces at each other! LOVE IT.

During the ceremony Caryn’s brother gave an astounding performance of the song The Prayer. It was beautiful!

A quick moment between Caryn and Joe.

Right after the couple walked down the aisle, they embraced in the biggest hug!

Even though it was possibly the coldest day in October, Caryn, Joe and their wedding party braved the cold for some stunning portraits. In this next photo I asked Joe to give Caryn and hug and you can just see the love.

After portraits we warmed up inside to finish up some group portraits and then the couple made their grand entrance followed by the sweetest first dance. It’s so sweet how tightly Joe is holding Caryn as they had their first dance.

The wedding party showered them with heartfelt and touching speeches.

During Caryn’s dance with her step-father, her mother joined in for an impromptu family moment.

Possibly one of my favorite moments I’ve ever witnessed at a wedding followed next. Caryn and her family surprised everyone by performing Bella’s finale performance from pitch perfect, and it was perfect!

The performace was the perfect way to open the dance floor.

While dancing was in full swing Caryn whipped out a microphone and started another dance off with her mother to Gloria by Laura Branigan. It was an experience I will never forget, nor will their guests!

Caryn and Joe, I cannot express to you how amazing your wedding was. I still smile every time I think of it. Thank you so much for allowing me to document your day. It was perfection! Also I very big thank you to Bob Farren, my second shooter, it was wonderful working with you!
