Highfield Hall and Gardens, Falmouth MA: Caitlin and Max

For months I’ve been looking forward to sharing Caitlin and Max’s wedding at Highfield Hall and Gardens from this past spring. These two meticulous planned and created a elegant and wonderful experience for their family and friends, many who were coming in from out of state. The couples main focus was to spend time with guests and share their love with everyone.

The couple started the day with a first look at Max’s family friends Japanese inspired garden. The garden abuts Max’s family home and I could not have been more stunned at the incredible oasis their neighbors have created. After some portraits and family formals, the couple held there ceremony in a quintessential New England church in the center of Falmouth. Tears and laughter followed with some of my favorite processional images.

For the reception, Caitlin’s father gave a touching toast where he talked about his love and admiration for his daughter as well as her strength an compassion. He juxtaposed her elegant composure with her fierce competition and shared a story about Caitlin taking no excuses in a crew race and turned into a bull dog of a coxswain. Caitlin’s sister, the maid of honor, and Max’s life long best friend and best man followed with equally touching and funny stories about the couple. It was a memorable wedding and one I’m very happy to share with you.
