Erin and Mark are one of the sweetest couples I’ve had the please to meet. The love and warmth between each other and their families was felt throughout the day. It was such an amazing experience documenting their wedding, which also made it even more difficult to pick out some of my favorites. I started in the morning with Erin at her parents house in Newport, RI. Erin’s friend and makeup artist Angela did a phenomenal job.
Erin’s friend Sara, who was also the officiant, dropped by for a visit. I loved her reaction to seeing Erin on her wedding day.
A couple months prior to the wedding, Erin’s sister had a beautiful baby.
Mark started the day with his parents and my second photographer Gabby. I thought it was adorable that Mark’s mother was sewing up some buttons the day of the wedding.
Gabby captured this next series perfectly.
Once the couple was ready we headed over to Normans Bird Sanctuary in Newport for their first look and formals. Marks reaction to seeing Erin for the first time is priceless. They also have the best hugs!
The ceremony was held on the beach outside of the Rotunda in Newport. They timed their ceremony perfectly and we had great light that wasn’t too hard.
The couple asked their parents and some of their friends to read letters to them during the ceremony.
This was an awesome moment with the couple and Mark’s parents after we finished up family formals.
Erin and Mark had a really fun first dance which was set to Your House by Steel Pulse and was followed up by some great speeches.
What beautiful pictures. You captured the day perfectly!
