Mariana and James lovely summer wedding at the Connors Center in Dover MA:
What were you most excited about before the wedding?
We were most excited to celebrate with the people closest to us. We both have international family who we don’t get to see very often, and it was very special to have them there for our wedding celebration
What moments did you love the most after your wedding?
One of the moments we loved most was our first dance. We had changed the song only days before and did not have time to practice our dance. The morning of the wedding we spend a couple minutes coming up with “our moves”, and when the time came and we were in the moment it was all perfect to us, and we pulled it off.
Another moment that was so special to us was our first look. The nerves and excitement we felt mimicked that of our first date three years ago. We were both overcome with emotion, seeing each other. Afterwards it was nice to take comfort in the fact that we were doing this and in this together which settled our nerves for the ceremony.
What was the best decision you made for your wedding?
One of the best decisions we made was working with Paula as our wedding planner. She helped us create exactly what we envisioned and made it truly special to us. Not only did she keep us on track and organized, but we found the right team like our photographer 🙂
Which images did you love the most, any one specific ones and why?
Although it was very hard to choose favorites and we love so many of the pictures, the pictures of us under the veil captured the moment perfectly and show our happiness, closeness and love for each other. It’s funny because at the time Angie told us that it may seem strange, but to “trust her”, and now they are some of our favorites.
If you shared a little advice for couples going through this process what would be the biggest take away?
The piece of advice we would give to future couples is not only to slow down to appreciate what’s happening and take it all in, but also to enjoy the special things you booked for your event. Don’t forget to enjoy things like your dessert table and photo booth!
