A gorgeous day for a Hildene summer wedding in Manchester, Vermont! Here is what Jane and Dave had to say about their wedding day:
What led you to decide to celebrate the wedding the way that you did?
We both had connections to Vermont, so we knew from the start that we wanted to do a VT wedding. As soon as we saw the Hildene property we wanted it to be our venue – the views, the garden, and the mansion are amazing and it felt like the perfect place for us. From there, we just wanted to plan things that would make for the most fun day with our loved ones!
Was there anything that surprised you about your wedding?
Not sure if it’s a surprise, but it was so nice to see everything come together in the way it did. So much time and effort went into the planning and it all didn’t seem real, but seeing all the pieces in place on our wedding day was so fun. We feel very lucky to have such an amazing group of vendor partners and the support of our family and friends to make that happen!
What were some of your favorite images?
There are so many favorites to choose from! Angie did such a great job capturing special moments with our family and friends, and moments of the two of us. If we had to choose some favorites, the ones of us walking through the Hildene gardens during sunset are definitely up there. The images not only capture the scenery that drew us to the property in the first place, but also capture some of the most personal moments in the best way.
Any advice for couples going through this process or about to go through the process?
We know everyone says this, but the day truly flies by. We took some moments during the reception to look around and take everything in and appreciate how great it was to have all our friends and family there for such a happy occasion
