Maui Wedding – Emma and Dave Part 1

I’m so excited to bring you Emma and Dave! I could not have asked for a better couple. They were amazing! Their ceremony was joyous and touching all at the same time. They picked a fantastic officiant who began the ceremony by using a conch shell. It was a first for me but it was perfect. When everyone wasn’t in tears over the couples touching vows the officiant had everyone wiping their eyes from laughter.

Emma started off the day in their hotel getting ready with one of her best friends Cat.

Unfortunately Emma’s mother couldn’t come to Maui so she phoned her in the morning!

We hopped in the car and drove to the other side of the island for the ceremony.

Emma’s good friend Marcus walked her down the aisle.

Emma and Dave in Hawaiian fashion exchanged leiss.

Marcus to the rescue with more tissues!

When exchanging vows, Dave got a little creative and had his groomsmen join in!

One of my favorites of the day!

Opening and closing of the ceremony with a conch shell. He had some style!

After the ceremony there were plenty of hugs to go around. I love this one where the couple is hugging Dave’s parents, and their friends are in the background trying to keep back tears.

Signing the marriage certificate!

Everyone at the wedding!

The couple decided to get married early in the day so that way family and friends on the east coast could watch via a web camera. Afterwards everyone settled into some delicious brunch! We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves!

After brunch the couple said thank you to their friends and family and then moved onto some portraits. These are just a sneak peek at what we did 🙂

I love this one! It makes me smile every time I see it!Make sure to check back in a few days for Part 2, the reception back home!
