I’ve been excited to share this wedding for so long. It was very difficult narrowing down images, but I tried to keep it to just the necessities. That was probably a hard fail in itself. With every wedding I want to deliver heart felt images that tell the story of the day, that also do not compromise on composition of the photographs. Mary and Eric of course are NYU film graduates, and I felt a tinge more pressure deliver some of my best work!
I wanted to start their story with one of my favorite images of the day. The above image comes from right after the ceremony, Eric in one hand carrying Mary’s train and in the other her shoes. The wedding party is hanging out in the background, still in the recessional order, not wanting to disturb the moment for the couple. For me this one image speaks to the love the couple has for each other, and the wonderful thoughtful and kind people they choose for their wedding party. It’s tells the joy and love of the day all in one image.
Mary and Eric hosted their friends and family at a private residence. Their ceremony was 20 feet from the ocean, on the beach, and even the wind did not diminish the joy of the ceremony. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their day and really get a sense of the two of them and their friends and family.
